Study a dual Diploma in a sports-focused setting. Theoretical learning and assessment is delivered by TAFE NSW industry experienced teachers; combined with the opportunity for practical experience supported by South Sydney Rabbitohs staff and players.
Key components that will enhance the student experience and distinguish this program from other sports programs include:
Upon successful completion of the BSB50420 – Diploma of Leadership and Management and the SIS50122 – Diploma of Sport, Aquatics and Recreation Management, graduates will be able to gain Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for entry into a variety of undergraduate programs at University.
Students’ theoretical learning will be supported by 100 hours of work-integrated learning that will be provided across various departments at the club.
Teaching will be delivered across two iconic locations – the new state of the art USANA Rabbitohs Centre in Maroubra, home of the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the historic Redfern Oval, a venue rich in Rabbitohs heritage.
The Rabbitohs commit to hiring a minimum of two students each year into graduate roles across various departments in the organisation. Additionally, students who complete their 100 hours of work-integrated learning may also be considered for casual work throughout the course.
