Study a dual diploma in a sports-focused setting. Theoretical learning and assessment is delivered by TAFE NSW industry experienced teachers; combined with the opportunity for practical experience supported by South Sydney Rabbitohs staff and players.
Key components that will enhance the student experience and distinguish this program from other sports programs include:
By completing the BSB50420 - Diploma of Leadership and Management SIS50122 - Diploma of Sport, Aquatics and Recreation Management as part of the South Sydney Rabbitohs and TAFE NSW partnership, students will have access to a nationally-recognised suite of diploma-to-degree pathways.
Students’ theoretical learning will be supported by 100 hours of work-integrated learning that will be provided across various departments at the club.
The program will be hosted at the brand new state-of-the-art USANA Rabbitohs Centre in Maroubra, home of the South Sydney Rabbitohs. Parts of the program content will also be delivered online to support flexible student learning.
The Rabbitohs commit to hiring a minimum of two students from each completed cohort into graduate roles across various departments in the organisation. Additionally, students who complete their 100 hours of work-integrated learning may also be considered for casual work throughout the course.
